Email from Natalie regarding Cata
I just received some more bad news. We lost another classmate last week. Cata Taillon died on Oct. 11 of a heart related illness. She leaves behind five beautiful girls and of course her brothers and sisters, Peter, Jack and Lisa. She was one of the first kids that I met when I moved to Fernie in 1971. We shared many tears and laughs as we grew up together in the airport. Although as we grew older we grew apart I will always remember playing together in our wild playground by the river and singing songs on the swingset in the warm summer evenings. She heard the owl call her name and her suffering is over! natalie

Wow, I just wanted to say I'm so sorry to hear about Cata. That's such a tragedy. My heart goes out to her children and the rest of her family. Peace be with you Cata!
I cannot believe we've lost Cata. I have so many wonderful memories of her... from her "clown pants" she picked up in Missoula in grade 7 to hanging out with her in highschool. How heartwrenching that she's left our lives. The world is an emptier place with her loss. My thoughts are with her family...
I guess as we grow older we will hear more sad stories like this, but it doesn't make it any easier. My thoughts are with Cata's family during this terrible time, and I grieve for their loss...
